Now, what about the beer? This sour was aged on top of second-use Chenin Blanc grapes. Mild in acidity with notes of melon, pear, tar white grapes, and Meyer lemon, we want to add a touch of tropical hop character with Mosaic hops. By dry-hopping this low acid aged blend we were able to extract aromas of passion fruit, guava, and grapefruit to complement the existing flavors already found in the base.
Refreshingly tart with notes of citrus and tropical fruits we think that this is a beautiful sour to enjoy after adventuring Steep Ravine.
